If years after we’ve worked together you can look back on the shots we captured and feel a rush of emotion, I’ve done my job. Pictures are about so much more than matching outfits and cute staged poses. They are preserved memories of life as it really is : a day at the park shared with loved ones, young and old; your belly round and face bright with possibility before the birth of a child; your son’s ever-tousled hair and inquisitive eyes; your daughter’s scraped knees and devilish grin; or the way your puppy runs to greet you with feet and ears too big for his body.  Whether you’re looking for special occasion photos or family portraits, I want you to remember your special yesterdays for all of your beautiful tomorrows.
I’ve always loved photography, but became serious about it as a profession in 2008.  At the time, I was studying Family Counseling and found that some of the same things that drew me to counseling also drew me to photography—particularly the chance to connect with people. I spent the next few years learning the craft and had the great fortune to mentor with renowned maternity and newborn photographer Ana Brandt. Her wisdom and insight continues to inspire me on every assignment. One of the biggest lessons she taught me was that photographs are as much for future generations as they are for the present.  Great pictures can be legacies, telling brilliant stories for years to come.

Today, I am grateful for the opportunity to work with so many great families.  On location or in my studio, my shooting style is soft and fun, so clients feel comfortable enough to just be themselves.

I’d be honored to help preserve your precious memories and can’t wait to work together.
